Equine Assisted Psychotherapy

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy

anxiety therapist

I am a Certified Equine Assisted Psychotherapist through EAGALA — the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association, a national nonprofit certification and education organization.

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy — also known as EAP — is a type of therapy which integrates horses into the treatment process. It is used in a variety of therapy fields.  Horses can help people with physical issues, speech problems, behavioral issues, emotional problems, and other disabilities.   I focus on behavioral and emotional healing.

I am currently offering EAP services for individuals, families, and groups at a ranch in the Los Gatos mountains.

Please call (408) 320-7276 for additional information regarding EAP individual sessions as well as the current group schedule for eating disorder recovery groups.

The emotional bond and sense of kinship between us and a horse is great.  This picture reflects that, as well as the sense of peace that a horse can bring into the moment,.
